Yah, Irwin was cool. It's fleshin' up that he gets killed by a docile animal that is only blamed for 3 to 17 other freak - like deaths in all of known history.

He was more likely to get eaqten by a shark while surfing.

in this forum we deal with sheeet and move on as quickly as possible cause as stevo has proved .. you never know when your time is up ! .. so please no one take any offence to Kiteys and ( still shocked ) Sp's outrageous dissregard for a global icon .

Stand in the corner the pair of ya ..yes .. and face the wall with your hands on your head and dont turn around until youve thought of something nice to say

Watched the memorial service last night.

At the end they packed all his gear up in a ute and drove off... The last item packed was his surfboard.

Real tight lump in my throat. Wife misty eyed. Kids very quite.

Even my 4yo was quiet for it. At the end he asked me "Daddy, why are they taking Steve's surfboard away? He can't ride it if they do that."

"Don't worry mate. He's in heaven now. God'll give him all the surfboards he needs."

How to explain? We've tried a bit. I guess they are lucky they don't understand death yet.
