No offence to beginners but stay to the shallows until u know the basics, especially duck diving. beginners in australia are getting absolutely farkin ridiculous! it is only a matter of time before someone dies from a board hitting them. theres was a 10 yr old local surfer a few days ago in byron bay, NSW that had his skull crushed by a beginners board being flung. Im not saying dont surf, because suring is such a great thing. just be aware of your surroundings. PLEASE read this article:

whoaaaa thats crazy!

The worst are the ones who paddle like half a football field to a wave your waiting for then paddle right next to you expecting you to just sit on your board. lol. I just hold their leash, thats always fun.
