Ronin, how long have you been surfing?

I've been surfing for a loooong time now dude. But trust me, I don't look like I have. Little gremmies still out paddle me.

I've never surfed Redondo as far as I can remember. I'll meet up with you guys though. Preferrably early a.m. on a weekend. Someone pm me directions, where to park, and what tower / jettie / whatever you guys will be at.

2 mini long 1)-surftech soft top (not a foamy)( 3 future fin), 1)- Z epoxy epoxy(3 future fin), next week getting anouther 8'6" glass used but has not seen watter)(3 future fin), 4 used short 6'4" up to 6'6" 1)- Rusty (3 future fin), 1)-Lost(3 future fin), 1)-Merrick(3 fcs), 1)-Blue Hawaii(3 fcs) all have no dings and very very little if any top side only dents , 2)- new never used 6'4" & 6'6" podunk (quad future fin), 2)- used all repaired 1)- 6'2" ?(can't remember)??? (3 future fin), 1)- 6'6" kienan (3 future glass on) and 2 in my garage getting rebuilt/repaired 1)- Blue Hawaii (3 fcs)
1)- 7'2" Brog(3 future fin) and If that ain't enough gonna make a 6'7" or so (3 future fin) and a 9'0" (not sure on fins), have all I need tools ,stands, foam blanks, glass, etc. Just waiting till I'm sure what I want then I'll shape and finish em.

Who knows I am seeming to be allways in the market for more just love em all !!!!!!

Yes It is a very nice quiver even for a kook like me,,,, I know what I"m holding.
Well TReMoR leme see what I got up my sleeve and if we connect for a surf meet I'll bring a shorter stick for ya to try/use and If your willing to wait a bit wait till I rebuild anouther Blue Hawaii that was just givin to me today It's a 6'2" (3 fin fcs) and when I say rebuild I mean make it new again. Board was in good to great shape but I like my shiz to be nice!!! and hell just might give it to you for a kick azz price, If I don't need to slave work on it (you will have to get your own fins) did not have any plus you would have and pay me for matterials used (about $30 to $50 bucks!!!!) or I'll hunt down a board you want and help you check it out and finagle the price plus if it needs any repairs can do that too no worries

HA HA HA ROFL.... I would be even more impressive if I could use them to surf vs gettin tossed as much as I do.
Well 6ish Sun morn water looked like a lake, don't think I've ever seen it that flat and glassy, the waves were about 4 inches. Drove up and down the coast and all looked flater than plywood, still like a dumb azz waited in hopes and about 8ish started to see baby waves in redondo soooo wada ya think my dumb azz did... Yepserini went out. Was actually kinda fun at first no wind and the waves were easy mellow pushes didn't have to paddle like a monster to catch em. Got to stand/turn and surf the down the line (kinda lol),,, but there was lot's of trash in the drink and finaly had to call it quits after swallowing what I think was a diaper and a quart of oil (YUK !!!hate garbage!!!) felt like I needed a HAZ-MAT team to come and bio detox rinse me as well as shower twice. What does it mean when your board swims ashore alone leaving you out there and refuses to get back in the water????? lol

wow that'd be awsome .. haha.. so you repair boards? Because my cousins owns a snapped board thats new.. haha.. he bought it for like 800 dollars at hermosa pier.. (total rip off) lol.. but that was when he didnt know anything about surfing.. and i'd never tried it before.. haha

Naw no kiddin wife shot pics of me (Did not realy gulp a huggies but did see one floatin by) and she got pics of me unwrapin some kinda ???? shiz that entangled on my leash...So I ditched the leash and lil bit later she seen me fighting with some trash bag that somehow ??????? wraped arounnd my tail and fins and would not come off she said HA HA HA ROFL" It looked like it was a large jelly stuck on it HA HA HA I told her na it was my malfunctioning drag parachute so I can break hard when rippin down the line and run out of water. I mean what the F did we happen to run out of land fill???? It allmost looked like they were running the sand rake equiptment down the beach cleanin it and then dumpin it back into the water (job security???) I saw flip flop, toothbrush,shampoo bottle hell even a complete magazine shoulda grabed it and read while I was bobin about gezzzz and if I had a mask woulda looked under for the kitchen sink LOL. BUT YES FOR SURE I love to be in the water even when it is at it's worst and I for one will accept the good with the bad and hell I'll even play the game "dodge trash" or whoever comes out with less oil on em is buyin lunch" It's just one of those things ya gotta deal with and gotta make fun of the sad reality.

I woulda fliped out paying that much and to have it fold in two,,,, something is wrong!!!!!! 800 bone boards don't snap that easy let alone any damn board just breaking shiz unless they knew what was up or he was jumpin off a pier landing on it that's B.S. almost sounds as if it were a B.S. fix and ya couldent tell but still to hold 1 half in one hand for 400 and anouther half in your outher hand for 400 could only make ya feel like you have very very red ankles ( from being bent over and told to hold on) and there would for surley be some hurt folk a coupple of their wallets missing as well I'd would have left with more than just anouther stick.That kind if shiz realy get's my sac in an uproar!!!! Any surf shop is suposed to be givin good vibes on all fronts and it souds like they got corporate greed and assholisim behind them. Sad... Very sad. and to say (total rip off) is so mildly putting it, it's not even funny. But yes... Have no fear underdog is here and yes I can and do fix/rebuild/make sticks I'll post some more on me and how I got some of my quiver how much and where to answer your early post lil latter. Have to see it and evaluate if pos for a repair/rebuild. Done right will be strong as hell and won't be able to ever see damage,but snaped ones are quite a bit more labor,,,but so what let's see what we can do to set him up and then mabie his azz won't feel as tore up as it does now HA HA. Geeezzz for $800.00 I just made contact with one good bra of mine and could have got him at least 4 or 5 boards and I was not even tryin yet.
Like I said I can and would help just about anywho who is shoping for sticks.
I did a house remodel for a pro surfer couple of years ago(no names please he likes his privacy) has oh.... 30 to 40 boards at home and at least that sitting around the globe he's out doing the surf the world competitions now and him and his wife befriended me (very very cool people,happy to just have them as friends)... Well some time ago I did some gunsmithing for him/her (I have been a gunsmith for oh say since I was 14 yrs old,, many many moons ago and if you've read any gun mags in the last 20 years you've seen my work)(free to them of course) and he (mister not greedy) get's what seems to be a new board every week or so and had a buttload on hand was going to give me some. I laughed my azz off cause I knew in reality as much about surfing as heart surgery LOL. Well
he rectified that kicked me in the hairy bean bag sac and tossed my azz in the water with a board, he is by far my first choice for a person to teach me but he is in hot pursuit of his love and is ranked up there in stat. The couple of times he did take me out (one spot not for kook's/groms not even locals realy visit only the real pro/semi pro spot ...Well got major stink eye and tude but due to who and what he is I got to be there and once it was known that I was there with him and soley due to him got cut slack. When pro type were askin us if they could take the set I would for sure say yes but he would tell em no let me give it a go and they would back off very wierd to say the least but some outher cool dudes came over and helped my kook azz too I realy saw how much respect and athority he held in the surf world and learned a great great amount from him as well as his encouragement and tude are addicting and now I am in the realm of a few reasons to surf and surf better 1.) for me and me alone. 2.) want to be beter and know I can, don't want to let him/her down and I know that would.He contacts me occasionaly to check in on me. 3.) want to have fun meet outher cool people and have fun with them(In hopes my wife will follow suit as well. 4.) why not play in the two thirds of our planet. 5.) could go on and on and on but I think you get the jist of it. Well before he left to travel the tour he gave me a quiver somewere around 30 boards and the vibe that is supposed to go with surfing so some I sold and some I gave to outhers (share the good) and in time have done allot of homework and bought some myself and even some total crappers to learn fix/rebuild, look if I can build cars/bikes/homes and gunsmith ($740,000.00 single most expensive firearm to date) than fix/make surfboards is like play to me and have done it oh say 200 or so repairs (ding/dent) 4 broken and 2 build from scratch. Some of my sticks are not and will not ever be for sale and will never get used by anyone but me if at all but outhers I've got no prob sharing.(funny in life were taught to share as little kids but when we get older we hoard all) WHY? I for sure know this. I would allways want to surf with somebody else than by myself nomatter what level of surfer they are! If we truley help one anouther than we can only progress in a pos forward step. besides what do ya think you get to take it with you when you die??? hell all the stuff I own is just for somebody else once I'm gone. so there TReMoR a lil bit more on me and just for your info none of the sticks I listed came from my friend. All those listed here I hunted down and bought the most I spent for all is about 1,000.00 and to say where??? All over but now I have a few conects to board source and like I stated can help somebody shop around. Oh yea look into a 6'4" You'll prob be happier.

I really like the way you put number 4. hah. Why not play in 2/3rds of our planet. I may have to adopt that little saying now.. Not many (outside of surfing) understand how nice it is just to be out in the ocean. Always love when come across more good people that see the FUN of that part of our world.
