Rammstein: Mein Herz Brennt (probably not the saddest but that is all I could think of right now.) Or if you are into romantic-type sad music (if you can unerstand the lyrics, or at least some of it.) Then "Wo Bist Du?" or "Feuer und Waßer".

(I don't listen to much else than Rammstein, sometimmes I would listen to other bands but 90% of the time I listen to Rammstein, so to me those are the saddest songs.)

Edit: correction, Mutter is the saddest.

Check these songs out...

Postby Cataloniandevil » Fri May 30, 2008 5:35 pm

The two saddest songs that come to mind are "This Night"-Black Lab and "Una Palabra"-Carlos Varela. They might be a little tricky to find but they're both on youtube. Una Palabra is in Portuguese but if you youtube "carlos varela - una palabra", it's the black and white video of some girl, the translation is included. Also:

"Existentialism On Prom Night" - Straylight Run
"Ruby Tuesday" - Franco Battiato
"No Lies, Just Love" - Bright Eyes
"Let It Be" - Nick Cave
"I'll Fall With Your Knife" - Peter Murphy
"Fair" - Remy Zero
"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" - Death Cab for Cutie
"First Day of My Life" - Bright Eyes
"23" - Jimmy Eat World
"Hear You Me" - Jimmy Eat World
"Disarm" - Smashing Pumpkins
"Beautiful" - HIM
"Come In Closer" - Blue October
"Hell Bent" - Kenna
"Fire On The Light" - Jason Turtle
"Naked Hands" - Jason Turtle
"The Space Between" - Dave Matthews Band
"Glycerine" - Bush
I know some aren't really sad, and some are down right sappy, but they're good for what they are. Hope this helps.

dunno, but I know the longest word in the English language. It's "smiles," because there is a mile between the S's.

It costs more to buy a new car today in the United States than it cost Christopher Columbus to equip and undertake three voyages to and from the New World.
