are you a kook or something? do you live on oahu? i didnt think so. dont believe the surf report you read on magicseaweed. the surf on the north shore is 1-3. "flat" by most peoples standards, when NS. gets uo to 30 ft. this time of year.

Merry Xmas.
Calm Pumping surf conditions this AM with a good 3 to 5 ft of chunky northeast / east solid swell pushing into Scarbough and the odd bigger set wedging into Taylors. Solid as A frames go Santa go.
Winds could fill in northwest but shift more south / southwest this arvo.

what would christmas be without the grinch.
1-3 feet is flat in hawaii. unless youve got no life or youre a kook. and rich, because your board sinks in the water when riding small waves because they dont move fast enough, and you break it on the reef, so surfing now would also be stupid. even if you have a long board. youd have to be a kook to surf it. *ahem

im not christian but thanks anyways and same to you

we only have small waves most of the time too. i suppose me and my friends are an exception in that when we surf small waves we get bored and do stupid stuff and mess our boards up, so i dont bother. its not wortth small surf getting stitchs and broken boards from sharp reef. theres other stuff to do like hiking or fleshin' or playing with the dog or maybe even study hah.

isnt it a pagan holiday that christians stole by adapting it to the birth of christ which was in the summer, so that they could gain more followers by stealing a holiday that already existed... yeah im not very christmasy, never have been its always been just me and my mom there is no one else to celebrate. (everyone else lives on U.S. mainland)

yes it's true, infact the word 'Yule' comes from ancient germanic language for this time of year. Pagans celebrated the birth of the sun, on the 21st, which just so happens to be my birthday too :D. Pagan traditions like decorating trees and hanging mistletoe are still around aswell.
