Ahh, the "let's take a break" routine. Speaking purely from my experience (and 16 years of marriage thereafter), that means "I want to look around, but still keep you strung out, just in case." Which is fine as long as you understand that's what it means. Go have some fun, meet new people, enjoy life. If she comes back, great. If not, find your Miss Right.

Blah blah blah. I didn't listen either.

I just broke up with my girl of 2.5 years last night. Says she just wants to do "her own thing". But the thing is, we are in college, different schools, and she decides we can do our own thing better in our hometown than at school.......

Whatever. That's it.

Dogs love the beach, and are always happy to see you.

Now a year later we started talking a lot and have been hanging out almost everyday, but found out she had a boyfriend but hes a total jerk to her. i dunno really like her and i just kissed her tonight but my mind was telling me no and my body said yeah. thats a weird description. i just had to let it out

anyways yeah, tell ur stories

Aw :)

Sorry to hear that kid.

I think for now just be a friend to her! What is there to lose? You sound like a kind and appreciative person and I'm sure she would appreciate your friendship :)

Plus you never know, from what I've heard, relationships like that hardly ever last. Just make sure whatever you do, no making moves until AFTER that relationship is over! ;)

Yeah. Breaks don't tend to work well for the one left hanging. Either, the person who suggests the break doesn't have the Balls to make a clean break and deal with your emotional breakdown that results. Or, they really want to see if the person they spend hours flirting with will actually make a serious move before they call time on your relationship.

Be kind to yourself and ditch her. Move on and take the good stuff from the relatioship with you.
