Longboarding (skating)

Postby hyber » Sat Feb 17, 2007 7:08 pm

hey,
Ive been shortboarding for a few years now, im 16 and live in bournemouth, uk and am looking for ways to entertain myself on those flat days.

Im thinking of trying longboarding and am thinking of this board in particular:
http://www.lushlongboards.com/06-conten ... ubcat=KUNI

it says a beginner board but i doubt i will buy another unless i really get into
it.

The idea of pumping and not having to push and practising my carving sounds really promising, so im looking for just some feedback of what its like and if that looks like a good board.

Thanks
hyber

Yeah, longboarding's sweet. Just got back from a 5 hour sesh.

I think that board doesn't look very fun, in my opinion. Just looks flat and doesn't look like it would have a very responsive flex.

Sounds like you'd like the Mako carve, if you're set in lush

I rode a board today made by Bustin' boards, it was really sweet. Aweesomme carver. Maybe I'll get some pics of it up later. For 180 (USD) you can get one set up with 3dms (sweet wheels) and trackers (sweet trucks).
