Order a take away and pay by cheque, at least that way you get a few days to get the cash flow shortage sorted.

aaaah i hadn't thought of that. good idea. the situation is still unresolved. my work place is blaming the council and the council is blaming my work place.

neither of them will accept responsibility so they wont give me my money        i suppose the only relief i've got is the fact that both of them acknowledge that I have been at work and AM entitled to get paid

you know what really annoys me is that I phoned my union (which i pay stupid sums of money to in case of something like this) and they said they can't do anything yet and told me to wait a few days to see if the situation resolves itself. WHAT A LOT OF USE THAT IS

I feel like storming into my boss' office and shouting "GIVE ME THE MONEY, BEE-ATCH" but that probably wont help matters.

STRESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

*rant over* :D

I'm now going home to my one egg and tap water  . think i'll try the takeaway with a chequebook. maybe i should walk around work wearing a sign that says "please feed me"??????

Another trick I used as a student was to cash a cheque at the post office, which would allow me to go over my overdraft limit in case of an emergancy.

Which was always before my new student loan came though.
