Skimboard Accesories

Hey guys just got my new Skimboard an just wondred about all the other skimmers out there. Do u put noseguards on the an grip pads? Just interested in what all u other guys do lol

I stick with the traditional wooden tear-drop board with a light glassing on it. Only a bit of local wax as an 'accsesory'.

I have seen people with small, thin leashes attached. Looked funny.

I'm not a world-class skimboarder, but wouldn't a leash get in the way or possibly be to short? I just use some wax...

i used to skimboard as a kid, and remebering the injuries i used to get the accessories i would suggest would be a helmet, knee and elbow pads, leathers, but most importantly- sand proof underpants.
