Actually I was hoping Germany vs England when Australia got knocked out.

Wifes' German/English (both parents full German citizens) descent and I am mostly Irish/French descent.

...all i know is ... " England & penalties do not mix well " .. its gotta be a national confidence thing ! .. i just dont get why the hell our guys have never been able to handle penalties , ok theres a lot of pressure but no more than any other part of any other sport .. im guessing it goes down to footy being a complete team sport so when it goes down to an individual to carry the weight alone ..they just fleshing crack up
see i reckon when it goes to penalties England should have a big leftfooted loner waiting covered by a tarp' ..and then unleash the thing on the penalty spot gotta work

aaah, you have missed out on the interviews...
Basically England knew that their weakness was penalties, so they "supposedly" spent 3 months out in this secret camp practicing penalties!!!

Some how, I can't seem to figure out why 3 months of practice still only gets them 1 of 5!!?!
