Who's been snowboarding this year and where? What's hot this year?

I skiied, then I used to snowboard, now I ski again, just prefer it more. Been to wintergreen some this year, but this warm spell on the east coast is killing everything. I'm gonna be up there this weekend, although the conditions will most likely suck, but its been planned for a long time.

out west is getting it good though, not that I've been there or anything.

i went over christmas to meribel in france and that was awsome there was a tonn of snow...really good snow boarding there and a big scene for thee boarders as well....strongly recomend going there!

is that a helicopter resort, gondolos, or chairlifts? I've been loosely lookingg for a place to go in the alps, but all of the sites online are kinda hard to find. seeing snowriders in the alps and the guys are dropped outta a helicopter with enough gear and food for a week, and start to ski on down... now I wanna go...

heya im assuming your talking about meribel lol.....

its mainly just chair lifts and gondalas but there is heliskiing and boarding...looks insane, its expensive to tho and sometimes they cant always take off, but there were so many heli pads out there so im sure you could get a deal of somesort.....man id love to give it a go!

I actually ski, I get all sorts of crap about it, but I've tried boarding and liked it, I just prefer skiing.

I ski at a place called wintergreen in Virginia. not exactly good for skiing considering its the furthest south that people ski and the furthest east, so pretty small mountains and not much natural snow. It's nice though, definately not a place people travel to though.

I go snowboarding almost every year for one week in Victoria in Australia, except this year I am thinking about going to New Zealand.
