Pennyboarding

Postby SnakePlissken » Wed Jan 01, 2020 8:32 pm

Anybody know any tricks to make this a bit easier? It seems like your feet have to be just right and you have to be up on the balls of them, and it doesn't seem to go very far per push

Yes it's an actual penny. I got one for me and one for my son. Then I realized how big my feet actually are.

Just as you don't ride a 70's era surfboard the same way as a modern surfboard, same goes for your retro skateboard.

Try get your feet close together in a real narrow stance in the middle of the deck. Really curl your toes and heels over the deck as you lean over to turn. The flex is there on purpose to change the camber and toe in- toe out. Pumping it to gain speed is so fun and fast ( if you know how to do it ).

Ok I'll try. So when I go to kick should I not turn my lead foot then?
I'll be glad to get this thing going. So convenient. I'm even thinking of making a similar one with a hinge that folds in half and can be clipped to the straps of a backpack or a pocket, I dunno. I think if I work out the engineering it would sell. Thoughts?

If you come up with anymore wild ideas, this guy probably already made it.

Oh and Yeah, the "Hindged" skateboard has been done before.
