Setting up Carver CX trucks

Hey, I've been reading through the SW archives and see that a few folks here have a Carver skateboard with the CX trucks. I have one, too, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for setting up the trucks for maximizing the pumping ability? How loose? Looser in the back or front? 50/50? Before I jump into the trial and error I just thought I'd tap the brain trust here first. Any thoughts? Thanks much.

Really, no one? I took it out yesterday for an experimental session and found that it seems to pump best with really loose trucks - 50/50. But I also found that the stock bushings are stiffer than I would like (since I'm a lightweight). Just ordered the "loose" bushing kit today, so I'll see how much of a difference it makes. Still curious though if anyone has swapped out the bushings or made any other mods to improve the pumping effectiveness.

I have both the Mini Simmons with CX trucks and the Swallow tail with C7 trucks. I left the CX alone and just ride it as is. I never even tightened or loosened the king pin nut. I weight 125 lbs / 57 kilos and it rides fine for me. If you wanted more loose without floppiness side to side, I would go with the C7s.

Quick update: I replaced the bushings with the Carver "loose" set and finally had a sunny morning to take it out. Definitely a looser ride and pumps much better, although I don't think I would want it that loose in a skatepark unless it was on a snake-run.

BTW, the Carver website only shows expensive shipping options for some reason but I called them directly and they just sent them standard postage without a hassle. For $11 (incl. tax + shipping) it seems like a worthy investment for lighter weight riders who want to increase their balance, carving, and pumping abilities.
