THC4MS - Canabis multiple sclerosis patients - Petition

Hi all ,

Im writing to ask for 2mins of your time to help on a very urgent matter relating to the little debate we have been having here


There is an organization in the UK called THC4MS .. these good people have for years been supplying multiple sclerosis patients ( For free ) with cannabis chocolate to ease their pain . It is a non-profit making organization and all chocolate and cannabis is donated from various people around the UK .

Although for years this organization and its three main members Mark and Lezley Gibson and Marcus Davies have been left alone and even endorsed by doctors and various VIP’s , they have recently been busted and charged with supplying illegal substances.

Unfortunately it looks as if they are going to be made an example of and it is very possible they will even have to face custodial terms .. even though Lezley herself has MS .

On the 'gateway' to other drugs thing, part of this is more than likely due to the situations you have to expose yourself to in order to get Cannabis.

If you could walk into a bar and order a beer and a joint/ piece of cake then you're not moving in circles where you would be exposed to other drugs.(well no more than you already are in bars).

I have dabbled a little in cannabis, in fact I can directly attribute the conception of my daughter to the curious effect this drug has on my wife!! LOL.

The thing is that Alcohol is a drug, but since it's readily available & socially acceptable more people do it. They don't necessarily go looking for a bigger high (or low!!). Some people abuse it as with everything.

If you're after a big high then you're going to go looking anyway, lots of people are satisfied with a drink, some are satisfied with a smoke, some aren't so that's just the way it goes!

I don't think legalising cannabis will have much of an effect in terms of people moving on to harder drugs.
