Surfing saved me

Postby BaNZ » Sun Sep 18, 2016 1:37 pm

As most of you know that there was a bomb explosion last night in NYC. I was going to be on that street at the time of explosion. But I decided the surf session in the morning worn me out too much so I just wanted to stay at home. It was a close call.

I'm glad you're safe.

Don't lose your appetite for having fun in the city. When we succumb to fear the terrorists win. According to the NYPD, there have been 20 known terrorist plots against New York City since September 11, 2001.

WOW! I am sure surfing has saved me numerous times too.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Good you're safe BaNZ!

Come to think of it, it would be a good thing if would be terrorists took up surfing instead. I hear they've got great waves in Yemen..

Welcome to New York?

Echoing Icetime's sentiments....this is becoming all too commonplace. At least you have your own safety plan worked out.... :)

I'm going to try my best. NYC isn't particularly good but it is still better than North Sea. Can't imagine what it is like to surf when the water dips below 0.

I would try as much as I can to take this as a sign I need to surf more if I were you. But then I would also take this as a sign to get my okole out of NY asap. But I am glad you are safe and no one was killed
