BALI RABIES

Postby arussell » Tue Mar 20, 2012 4:44 am

Hey guys,

I'm doing some research about rabies in Bali and looking for Australians who've had a rabies scare after being bitten by a dog in Bali. If this sounds like any of you please get in touch!
Cheers,

Alex

There is rabies in Bali , some of the monkeys can spread by their bites. But in order to answer your question you need to provide a link.
Other nationalities have been bitten in Bali and have become rabid.

Think Bali, think,
belly, malaria, dengue, typhoid, dysentery, encephalitis of various kinds, motorbike mayhem, surf injuries.
Make sure you have travel insurance with emergency evacuation and repatriation provisions. The further afield you go in Indonesian the better your insurance needs to be. Most reputable surf resorts and cruises will not allow you to come without proof of insurance.
Next statement, get the policy where you book, anyone following this thread up and spamming avoid like the plague.

Most of the dogs in Bali look like animated road kill, they have mange, no body fat and ribs and spine showing through everywhere, weeping suppurating sores and ringworm, some have absolutely no fur and have sunburn as well, often too they have various forms of skin cancer. super low on the karmic scale in Bali.

The healthy ones look a lot like a pure bred dingo and probably share the same gene pool.
Dog meat is eaten by some cultures  in Indonesia but not the Muslims as it is Haaram ( forbidden)nor the Hindus or Buddhists.

A sad life for a dog in Indo :!:
