Surf buddies

Hola, this is Diana coming from Spain (Vigo), I will be staying here until end of Jan 2012(Then I will return to Taiwan)...I'll be getting a board soon and I hope to find some people to surf with. And because I don't have a car... I hope to find someone that lives in Vigo so I can go with whenever possible. I will share the gas! And my board will be a shortboard.
I don't know many people that surf here, so I wish to kind of find someone thru surf forums (anyone know good Spanish forums? thought maybe it would be easier to find someone thru there....)

Hi Diana,
Hope you get the stoke there is awesome uncrowded (as yet surf) in Taiwan.
Then the year of the Dragon should give you some interesting surf.

well actually in some places it is already quite crowded in Taiwan, as it is becoming more popular with promotion/ads/movie..etc,
but yes, I say some of the best spots are still pretty "unpopulated" because of the distances from cities. But right now I am still in search of ways to go surfing here in Spain.

Hey there, i am looking at heading to Taiwan in November. At the beginning of typhoon season. I was planning on hanging up north. Is it easy to get around/cheap aswell. And is there heaps of cheap backpacker style accom. Be greatful for some info. Cheers
