Assumming everyone here is a surfer...do you guys still dress like one? If so, what are your favorite brands?

Sorry...just bored out of my mind right now and trying to pass some time.

Later.

I'm looking to start my own business so I wear my own promotional clothes all the time - yes, even when I sleep :D !

I have always worn some sort off surfing item, hot tuna tee’s / hat, rock salt hat, quicksilver shorts, styleeyes sunglasses for the beach, a small surfboard necklace made of a shell, and most recently I treated myself to one pair of billabong boxer shorts – they are quite good actually, didn’t come off during a surf a couple of days ago !

This stuff is expensive (if it ain’t its china copy stuff) but they do provide the surfing culture.

Some big companies have pulled back though and are now selling cheaper to make stuff for loads to make really big bucks from us – but that’s business I guess.

agreed! you can definitely tell some companies are whoring the far eastern production lines these days.

i wear a few different surf/skate brands. namely Nixon (love their watches), Hurley, DC, couple of quiksilver jumpers, some shades, etc.

Oooh, I went to town today and bought a new bag for my office work bits and bobs - a ‘Crumpler double charge' laptop cum courier bag – steel grey / Light rust :D

Less than half original price at £34.99 - it is my first bag and should last me for years so I ain’t too worried about the cost :?:

I also bought an alarm clock that don’t work – taking that back tomorrow, bloody thing ……… :x

haha...I thought you were all gonna say Quicksilver and O'neil...lol

Only brand I wear is ruca in case you couldn't tell from the title....mainly because their mediums actually fit me unlike other brands. Although...my wetsuit is O'Neil so I guess I'm guilty there.

Can't wait till Monday I'm freakin bored....hate tourists taking up my beaches....go back to Bakersfield so I can go surfing!!

ive been riding bmx for 8 years so i mainly wear those brands. too many people who dont surf wear surf brand t-shirts i think its kinda kookish to wear one. i do usually wear my boardies and sanuks tho. just cuz theyre really comfy.

i guess i'm bucking the trend here, but i have a lot of surf company clothes/apparel. it's a mix of volcom, quiksilver, and billabong, and a few other random ones. i also have a lot of surfrider event tee's, whether it be the actual event or tee's i won in raffles. most of the stuff i actually bought though was with my employee discount so it was pretty cheap. i'm about to order some patagonia stuff and an o'neill wetsuit or two on pro deal

rvca's pretty cool but, have to be honest ... i quite like most of those over priced surf brands. Mostly wear skate clothing though like vans, element etc ... gone through a couple of cheaper suits but my fav is oneill and cant help it but i also love my reef fanning flip flops! found a site where i keep getting 10% off (wicked)!

I have quite a few ripcurl/ roxy/ o'neil stuff, but mostly its bought from discount shop (tkxx, the place that sells stuff the major shops have left at the end of the season). but i buy it because i like the prints and look good on me. but its nice to know some of the money has gone into the surf brands that run comps and stuff.

Not really. Once in a while I will wear a t-shirt for Whalebone Surfshop or Coastal Edge Surfshop. But again those are t-shirts similar to my band t-shirts. Most people who see me on the street would probably assume I am not at all a beach person though I love beaches and surfs
