Surfing Room

Postby surfingirl » Thu Mar 03, 2005 1:16 am

Hey Guys I have a question for you!
I'm going to move to a new house, and of course I'm going to have a new room!!! :D So that time I want to design my room in Surfing Style kinda... to have like a place where can you meet with all your friend!
And to have that feeling that you are in the beach...do you have any ideas, that I can use for the room?

Buy some junk surfboards from someone and like the other guy said LOTS AND LOTS OF POASTERS. Then throw some sand and a dead fish in there for the full beach effect.

I know, you could cut off six inches from the bottom of the door and nail it to the frame, then cover your floor in sand!

I've allways wanted to do that...

WHOA. That is a badass idea, but I know I would trip over the door all the time and you might drag a lot of sand through the house. Stains would be alot easier too clean up though.

Make a shelf out of surfboards but take off the leash and fins. Get a small colorful surfboard and make it parallel to the door but make it stick out a bit on the front of your door so theres a gap between the surfboard and the door. Instant door handle. I seen on at the Burger King in Waikiki. Thing looks cool and really stands out. Aloha!
