Tallships and Surfing

I was wondering if there is anyone out there in a similar, or have been in a similar situation as me right now???

Basically, i've fallen in love with tallship sailing and everything that goes with it - i hope to become bosun at some point in my life. However, surfing is also a major part of my life and, having been sailing for over two months now, i'm really really missing it.

Has anyone found a way to combine the two??

sail to the line up then go for a surf then sail home again only thing i can think of.
