I havn't nah. Mainly cause its a SSSI. Actually illegl to do it and with the new CROW ct things are toughening up and its goin to be an arresable occence to be in there on anythng other than by foot.

I do however go out in the Abberffraw dunes on anglesey but its not that good really. Sand needs to be in the right conditions. Dry but with a light shower to harden the surface.
Deffo want to be getting outmore, perhaos some woodland riding

ok so its sssi but i dont see how they can stop people from riding bikes or mountin boarding or even sand boarding on them becuse your not doing any damage what so ever to the dunes

most of portland in dorest is SSSI but its also still crown land and means i can pretty much do any thing on that land aprt from hold partys camp etc so i dont see how SSSI have any power to stop us from having fun on the dunes

could you provide me with any links about not being able to do recration activertys on the dunes like mountin biking and boarding i just cant see it happening my self but if there gonna stop it i want to know the reasons why and how it effects the dunes

ok ive looked up the crow act and as far as i can make out it says that anyone found damageing the area is an arestable offence, it doesnt sadly give any specfic info about that whats damaging to the area i think they would have a hard time procecuting any mountin biker or boarder

did anyone see Top Gear a couple of weeks back where they had a race between a mountain boarder and a mitsibishi evo and then a fully prepared land rover v8 off roader ? (the boarder kicked the evos arse and lost by the land rover )
