looking for others ideas. like the surfboard coffee table, but not with surfboards.

i started picking up thrown out toilet tanks and filling them with dirt and planting stuff in them. looks good.

Wheels with the tyre on, cut road the middle of the tyre by following the tread. Pop the tyre halfs outwards fill top with soil and plants, a good and free flower pot

those old cable reels are really good tables . come in all sorts of sizes too. Any old Skate decks? driftwood planks..

Big containers like oil and liquids etc can be opened out for plants

Reuse jars for candle holders or for making your preserves etc etc

Yeah that was really popular in the 80s, unfortunately like most things in the 80s it turned out to be really ugly! Better to get them turned into fleeces or something.
