Surfing Waves

Just curious to see if any Manorbier regulars are around here. I've noticed the place (and nearby spots) gets mentioned quite a lot, but generally from people that live in other parts of the UK (or the world, for that matter).

I live in Pembrokeshire (near to Tenby) and started going to Manorbier whenever I can (only started surfing a couple of weeks ago)... none of my mates surf, so if anyone is around there and spots a floundering newbie on a white/blue Saltrock mini-mal, I'm happy to make new friends.

So lucky to live around this area... can't wait until more decent waves come in! Only a month and a half 'til I'm back at uni... hopefully things will pick up by then. (And hopefully the beaches will get less-busy!)

not me, but if you go on the 'bbc' wales surfing forum, there are a few who do.

Hey man! Not a Manorbier regular at all, but will be in the area fri/sat & planning to head down to either Fresh West or Manobier, so if I see you (or you see us - blonde girl & guy with black dreads, both riding bics ) I'll come & say hello!

Ooh just re-read that, I should point out that I am a blonde girl & my other half is a man with dreads.. Not some freakish girl/man combo! He he!

Well I've been to Tenby, Wales. Lovely place, bit of fishing and a nice view. Surf didn't look bad all those years ago, but there was chunks of poop in the water and it just looked cold

I'm driving over there about 10:30 - 11:00 tomorrow to check out the waves... if they're any good I'll probably be there for a few hours, head home for lunch at high-tide (~15:00) and come back afterwards for a few hours more.

Hoping for some good ones! But even if there are only a few small ones around, I'll still be there trying to catch whatever I can.

I have only been to Manorbier once ( and it was flat) but I love the setting. It's so nice there.

I love the place too had a few wicked sesions over the reef at Manorbier last year.

i used to surf manobier...i lived in tenby...really liked it there although it could get really crowded..i bet its only got worse..still the winter will sort that
