Surfing Waves

I think the Summer X-games are coming up. I have my tivo set to record all of it. Mainly all I care about is the surfing and the rally car racing (I'm a gear head as well). I don't think I've really watched surfing much in the past. What should we expect?

That would depend upon the conditions during the event. If their lucky a swell will come up. If no swell look for a bunch of guys pumping their boards like trampolines.

did this ever happen? I thought i saw it was going to be on TV but i never watched it and i cant find info about it anywhere.

It's done, but some channels might still be showing it again.
