I'm thinking about joining the BSA, for the insurance. it sounds sensible, but is it really that impostant, should i be rushing to get it now i've started surfing pretty regularly? does anyone else here belong to the BSA?

ive got insurance but i went with
sportscoverdirect.com/
you seem to get a bit more for your money plus cover for more than one sport
i quite liked the £8000 pounds search and rescue at sea bit
ive been hit by a board in the head as it flew out from underneath some guys feet after that i got the insurance just in case

Yeah its seems a must in todays claim society. Covers 3rd person mainly. Spose its a good idea if you have a 9ft+ log with no idea.

Accidents happen... and joining the BSA doesn't cost all that much, so seems sensible
Their email surf forecast all arrives much too late to make any difference to the weekend's plans though!
Good job I do my own
