Not quite the same but a few good reasons to let the missus know how lucky she is to have a surfer boyfriend/husband...

1) Surfers are mostly home after dark to rest up for the possibility of morning peak conditions

2) If you love the beach you'll spend a lot of time there

3) While salty to the taste, surfers are always clean

4) If there's surf to be had, they are guaranteed to be cruisy and sweet

5) They're a possible live-in surfing and swimming coach/cum lifesaver for the children

6) Surfers are mostly in top physical form for the bedroom

7) Always handy for a weather update

I think eastcoastsurfshop has it on this one. Why choose one over the other. Take a look and see how you can make both work synergisticaly. I like to have both my wife and board.

But then we wouldn't have the fun of trying to think up funny reasons why one is better than the other, and id have to look for something better to do! :)

It's just light hearted fun; i'm not suggesting anyone break up with their girlfriend/wife and start sleeping with their board instead.

I think it's quite funny that some people were like, 'you shouldn't have to choose!' errr... grow a sense of humour?
