You just need to get a good session uner your belt in order to resume your stoke. Go for the fun of it and don't worry about how you look. Have a session of Salt Water Therepy. Get back on a long board have a great time and then make your decision.

why would you m give up surfing???

is it cash? is it time? or a whole host of other reasons I cant figure out right now??!
....I can only think that you dont have the time or you need to raise cash in which case, your not giving up!! You just dont have the time to dedicate to it right now. But you cannot possibly be suggesting that you will never surf again??

I only know her from here, but she doesn't strike me as that type.
I'm waiting to hear her reasons (if she gives any) before I form an opinion as she seems a pretty level headed type.

I totally agree with the above post.
As far as her reason, its really none of our business.
Do we care? Of course!
I just hope, and pray its not for health reasons.

none of our buisness?
this reminds me of that scene in breakfast club. "Im not the one who dumped out my purse and invited everyone into my problems"
if she didnt want all of her online buddies asking her why then making assumptions and accusations when she didnt respond, she would not have made the post. by making the post without giving and explanation, she gave people the right to poke and prode.
