I have tried many times to get into my regular account but because I have a wildcatd email (e.g. anythingwilldoatwoodensurfboardbuilder.com) I'm not sure what the exact email is, hence the guest log in.

As for you Phil, you haven't changed a bit, grumpy and boring, no sense of humour and no stoke.

I often feel a live connection with those early surfers, and I know that the Duke doesn't mind, just take it as me paying him a compliment. . . . I share their simple joy in waveriding, no frills, just moving over the water.

:D

Hi Phil actually about 25% of responders feel the same way as you and 75% or so think it's cool. . .. . personally i think that if it helps to bring the old ways of surfing big wooden olo boards back then it's all good, there's a tendency for people to keep history quarantined and inaccessible, so i'm shaking it up a bit by adding new music, editing myself in etc.. . .. . I was well aware that some people would find it a tad offensive but to be honest, they are not the ones who are interested in olo riding anyway. . .

History has to be kept alive by bringing it into the future, it's good for the old ways to interact with trhe present and influence it rather than just being a 'glass case' display.

Nothing at all, many ways of surfing can co exist, olo ridng is fun activity which has been practicesd for centuries. . . .and it's still fun, but that doesn't mean that you are wrong to surf the way you do. . . we can all be right .
