Most of my friends in your situation just use the disposable contacts they normally wear. Sometimes they get knocked out tho.

Yeah, I used the disposable contacts and they seemed to do okay on my last trip out. I got tossed around once really hard and I came up thinking that was it for the contacts but they stayed in. I used a new pair and threw them out just in case some kinda funky bug/bacteria got in them. That may be overkill but it made me feel better. I took my glasses too just in case they did get washed out as I knew I'd have to drive regardless.

Yeah I'm nearly blind and I just wear disposable contacts. I usually wear an older pair that is nearly ready to be thrown away and I bring a new pair as well. I also bring my glasses just incase I loses both..after all I need to drive home somehow. Usually I just pack them in a little Igloo cooler (six pack sized) I carry along with suntan lotion, some bottled water and some snacks or a sandwich. Thats my routine anyway.
