Surfing Waves

I know this one is going to be a slippery slope...Let's be honest here: How many times a week do you all surf. I surfed 3 days this week. I plan on increasing the frequency. I used to surf more.

Another section to add to this....will you go surfing knowing that the waves are too small, or too big. I won't go if I know the waves are under waist high. I will check out anything overhead and make the determination to go in or not when I get there.[/b] For me if it's overhead its got to be peaky. If it's walled up I won't go.

i try to go surfing as much as i can but am only able to about once or twice a week in winter, 3-4 times a week or more in summer. I would go everyday if it was practical to do so. Also about the surf being to small, i have a new rule that if its above knee high im gonna be out there. i dont try and go out if its really choppy and just crap, like it will be tomorrow, so i do stay in on those days.

im an addict . every day for at least 2 hours in big or small, rainy, stormy, foggy ill still jump in If im lucky and i dont have much work i sometimes can get two sessions in one morning one afternoon

Winter & poor weekend waves. Hopefully will get some this weekend as winter has yet to show up with any snow either.

I go whenever i have the chance, even if it's ankle high and barely breaking.

Surfed 3 times this week too. Surfed everyday of the week last week. I will go surfing whatever height it is, but I back out when it's double overhead or close to that already.

i go everyday when its beg, and not at all when its small. it all depends on the surf.

i go when i can get too a wave

Sessions or days at the beach?

If you're counting sessions, I probably do between 5 and 8 a week. Days out, 3-4.

Along Libby's line, as often as possible, generally 4-6 times. We talking the same thing Libs?

I surf on average about less than once a week, and thats me getting in whenever its here. Surf round here sucks and seems to be getting worse .

Depends. I usually surf 1-2 every 2weeks, but this past year ive been so busy in uni ive only been able so surf like twice a month. But in the summer I surf 5-6 times a week.
In 2 weeks time i finish my last exam and then its non stop surfing everyday for the next 4 months!! That should make up for the crappy year.

I suppose over a year it would average 1-2 times a week, but its all swell dependant.

I will usually jump in about 3-4 times a week during the warm weather months say April - October. Nov - March it depends on the waves. As far as height anything knee - chest and I am good to go.

Depends entirely on where i am and what else is happening in my life. When i was living in New Zealand in my 4 month summer break from university is was 2-3 times a day 5-6 days a week, right now i have surfed about 4 times in 6 months as I am in my final year of my degree, lots of work, no car and 30 miles from the coast.
