Ok so i hit the water last week on my 6' 3" Quiet Flight and i was flyin off the lip and catching some air out of the wave, too afraid to even put any of my weighton the board comin back down to the water, im afraid ill snap my board but im only like 126. haha so i wanted to try catchin air and gettin back on the wave but i was so afraid of snapping my board. are boards really that heavy duty?

You should be able to land without snapping it. I weigh as much you and have stuck some airs and made some pretty big air drops without breaking my board and my board feels like it is glassed with 4+4 on the deck and 4 on the bottom, which is a pretty light glass job.

its just the longboards seemed a little heavier duty but like my shortboard seems really light and just like if i hit back on the wave hard enough its gonna snap i dunno

surfboards are hardier than you think of course it all depends on what type of glassing job was done. But nah you should be okay.

Oh how strange, within a week of getting this board you keep telling us about and you're catchin airs and everything, you must be a fast learner

.
Also I have never heard of anyone 'as good as you' worrying about their board snapping when hitting a big turn or 'catching some air'.

Here I thought it was just me seeing the bull flowing. One post says I went straight to a short board now we see it is not as hardy as his long board. Shoot it straight and you will get answers that will help you.
