NorthSwell you've got to post up a follow up review or something. I've been very interested in the Stretch quad bat-tail design. Do you know what kind of bottom contour it has?

The bottom contour is a single concave that is quite pronounced in the fin section.
It also seems to have quite a low rail, well at least not as boxy as i'm used too.
Will let you know how it goes tomorrow. I've heard from other people that quads need to be kept on the rail more than thrusters, but the Stretch is supposed to ride more like a thruster. We'll see. I can't wait.

Sweet Board!
Is that a tufflite? If so, then with those dims it is going to be floaty as. From my exp surfing tufflites and from others they can be hard to get a rail in due to corkiness and r better if surfed like a skateboard. ie. tictac along wave as opposed to full rail pumping and turns. Have ridden 5 tufflite models. Best was Mccoy nugget, but a bitch to duckdive. So smooth. Tell us how it goes if ya can? Hope it works for ya!

I shockingly still haven't ridden a tuflite. But I do have an EPS/Epoxy coming out of the shop sometime soon hopefully, it's kinda similar.
Phil I'm guessing that one is pretty performance oriented?

Chest/Shoulder high. Rides way different to the fish i've been surfing lately. Quick as feck down the line, which was good today as a bit closey outey, but the turns i need to get used too. It deffo rides like a shortboard, no lazy carves, it needs some punch.

Worst 1 I surfed was a 6'6" Byrne mullet fish shape. At 2 3/4 thick and about 20inch wide it was like paddling a canoe and felt sketchy as when trying to initiate a turn. Was heaps fast down the line tho. Anyone tried the TL2's? They look heaps different to normal tufflites and apparently have the flex of a normal shortboard.

Yeah tomcat, they do surf differently to a normal board and take a bit of adjusting i reckon. I was talking to my local board repairer and he said heaps of fellas had been going back to standard glass, foam as they couldnt adjust to the way epoxy boards surf. Delta dseigns in WA make a sweet epoxy btw.
