for monday and tuesday, that is probably the biggest swell ive ever seen in my area. is the wind going to just make it a huge mess, or is there any possibily for nice waves? the beach faces south/southeast and works best on a higher tide, low tide makes it a lot tamer.

Dang, I didn't see that coming. Of course they're saying a 12 foot offshore swell right now for me (a wee bit north, VA).
Ok just checked it, they aren't far off. Wow. It was like 1-2 this morning, it's a washing machine out there now.
I would say just keep checking them. Wetsand.com is good, check the cams with Surfline, and go to the beach and do your own report as much as possible. Should be at least some left overs.

I've been out in a swell like that up here in RI one day, 5 star magic seaweed though, it was insane actually (considering it was like the 3rd day ever I had gone surfing in my life). It produced (and I am talking literal wave measurements here) probably 7ft-3ft overhead, it was barreling and was actually making a beach break near Block Island go off that I have never seen go off in the 16 years of my existence. Good luck, hopefully you're just a wee bit more experience than I was at that time

I surfed 10 foot nicaragua last year, but florida is so much scarier, especially my break. Shallow, hard packed sandbars, crowded, and powerful, really powerful. But I'm still pumped for all the shacks to be had, i hope.

Some footage from tuesday at my local break. The drops were really hard since there was alot of backwash, but it was so awesome.
