I've still felt the motion of the ocean after getting out but never gotten sick. Then again, I've only been seasick twice so may not be that prone to it. Try again!

That's really wierd, that definitely has never happened to me before nor have I ever heard of that happening to someone else, to be honest that kind of sucks if you like to surf.

Yeah I was pretty surprised of the seasickness, but then I am prone to motion sickness in general. I can never enjoy a loopy roller coaster ride.

I spent a good nonstop hour or so just paddling and waiting it out. Slight dehydration and hunger may have compounded the problem. I guess I'll need to try taking more frequent breaks.

Worst comes to worst, I'll just pop a pill of Marezine before each session.

It's happened to me a couple of times.

My friends would look around and see me hanging over my board chucking up! (It's good dilution in the North Sea so it's okay).

Funny, it only happens the morning after I've had a big night out..... must be the combination of a dodgy kabab and the motion of the waves that makes me hurl

hey, i thought i was the only one...normally i'd have a good session, but on a number of occasions when i was just bobbing up and down waiting for some waves to come by, i'd feel the nausea, but luckily for me all i would have to do is burp a lot, but it was still uncomfortable.

just grab some motion sickness pills from the drug store or pharmacy or whatever you call it and that cured if for me.

god bless Kwells.

Don`t know about being sick, but i sometimes get that funny vision you get when you have been staring at a fishing float for a while ( rippling affect), with the added effect of feeling like you are bobbing up and down.

Are you sure you didn't get sunstroke or were generally dehydrated - either could make you feek sick.

If it is seasickness the only cure is to keep with it until your body gets accustomed to the motion - which it will do eventually . . .

Wow, and I thought it was only me... Happened a couple of times to me. Once I had to get out of the sea and lie on the beach with my eyes shut.... that was the worst... the other time, i was just really nauseaous... I remember getting so depressed, thinking that of all the things for a surfer to be afflicted with, seasickness is a cruel joke... as it is, I've been fine, for 6 months.
