Surfing Waves

Well, I've finally decided that I'm looking to get a longboard skateboard after a wheel fiasco with my wave board. (For anyone's future reference wave boards are awesome, the wheels blow though). I virtually know nothing about longboard skateboards, I just want something to cruise with when I can't get to the beach. I'm also trying to revive the "dogtown" style of skateboarding so I figure this is where I should start. Thanks for any feedback
