DBBB's new board - the other poll.

Postby drowningbitbybit » Tue Mar 20, 2007 3:50 pm

So the new pink/magenta/purple (delete according to opinion) is almost ready and hopefully I'll be surfing it at the weekend :D

I'm currently on a 6'6 hybrid fish (amongst others), while this is 6'3 and has considerably less volume. I'm a terribly front-footed, and this board has been designed with that in mind, as has the fact that Im 6' and 80kg.

So the question is... will I be able to surf it...?

And the results are in...

To all of you who said 'sink', I speet on your cynicism (even though one of you was libby)

To those who voted 'paddle ineffectually' (and particularly to James) I say 'pah!'
No trouble getting onto waves at all. Cracked the whole paddling thing.

There was a bit of falling off (sink those rails, DBBB....), a bit of wobbling, but mostly no problems at all. And on two particular waves, I was ripping - this is the board I should have been riding all along :D
