Anyone been to Croyde recently? It's like my favourite beach ever and the faves were amazing for me as a beginner. Anyone surf there regularly?

Have to agree with Dbbb on his assessment of the poll topic.

I've got to go with Saunton, cos I'm a bit of a girly mini-mal kind of guy!

I've just had some incredible long rides there and it's a slow forgiving wave when you're learning!

I like Croyde, but it gets crowded and I've never tried Puts (although reports are good!!) I'm hopefully heading down there in May, so I might get to try a few other places.

I'm kind off presuming people have voted as if each break was firing at its best. Why would you choose the most mediocre wave in the UK first? Now low tide Croyde thats a wave.

with low tide croyed iv always found its breaking to fast and they close out, but i think its because it hasnt been big enough, iv surfed it at 3-5ft and clean
