Pull your finger out and look at a map.
Its just like anywhere else, swell and wind accoridng to where places face. and prettymuch everywhere is a high tide break for best conditions.

I'd look at
www.beachwizard.com or
www.wannasurf.com
They give reviews of beaches just about everywhere. But, like anything else it all depends on the day!

Your best bet is to check out Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) in the Lleyn Penisula, this place picks up the smallest of surf. If there is no swell here then there will be sweet FA anywhere else!
If there is a swell but onshore winds then try out any of the beaches on the north coast of the peninsula, the best being Whistling Sands (Porth Oer) (Edited)
Enjoy!
