Why i am now anti-popout

Postby surfsc77 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 11:28 pm

today was the first time i took out my 6' 8" JS. let me tell you, it was a world of difference from my 6' 8" NSP. i wish i had upgraded sooner. i can duck dive with ease now, i go about twice as fast, the board is about 6 pounds lighter, and i caught about twice as many waves as i usually do. i will never ride a popout again. It feels like moving from a lawn chair to a viper. i guess it was okay to learn with, but this will definitely make me a better surfer. set fire to your pop out and go buy a handshaped!!

cool! Good on you dude. I rented an NSP mini-mal the other week and it was HORRIBLE. Made bic's seem light as a feather by comparison.
