Getting Ya Balls Squashed

Im sure someone has had the smae experience but why does it happen at the absolute worst time.

Anyway it was a fairly big day pretty rough as well and i had just ridden a pretty sweet ride which i pulled out of. I look behind and realise i had caught the worst possible wave as i see about 6 or 7 more coming my way. Im stuck on the inside right net to a very big pier with rocks all around. So i start to prepare myself for some tough duckdiving. I collect my board and jump on and SQUASH!!!!! Man i felt like i was going to puke but i couldnt do anything with all those sets about to land on my head so i mustered up the little strenght i had left and went under. Seems i didnt have it in me i just didnt go deep enough and ended up taking all of the waves on the head.

I could have drowned because of that. Still it's a funny story to relate

yeah, weve all been there..i find that in my wetsuit my balls seem to seperate down each leg sorta..if that makes any sense.

hehe this topic really is bringing the forum to a new level!

I always manage to get the "board slap" in the nuts on my way into the water when I dive over the top of whitewater near the beach... always buggers up my paddling out for a little while after.

Not actually a surfing injury, but I was once out cliffjumping with friends, when I tried doing a backflip off about 5ft into the sea. I messed up, and landed straight on my nadgers... Never felt pain like it before! Couldn't walk properly for the rest of the day, and I'm still slightly worried that I might now actually be sterile My mates comforted me by rolling about laughing...

same here. ive only been hit when I was trying to drop knee on a body board. Took the board right between the legs.

not so much of gettin squashed, but the sea is so cold they go up inside when the wetsuit lifts a bit to much, n that makes me feel sick.
