Just agree with you. But that seems just like the kind of thing people do more and more.
Last summer at the beach there were this people that carried their whole howse to the beach, so they could hear their radio, sit on their chair, catch no sun, drink their beverages, just as if they weren't at the beach at all.

People dont bother anymore to look around themselves to look for the hidden beauties of the world.

Edit:
"serious efforts have been made to ensure the technology did not interfere with the ride and feel of the board, said Intel.

The laptop weighs in at 2.3kg"

Dang! 2.3 kg not interfere on the ride?

Maybe built in palmtop like thing just for usefull information during championships seems very reasonable. Something like that...

hahahahaha. how much will that cost then?

i presume if you own one it would be tricky to surf having sold all your arms and legs to buy one. (that made no sense) funny idea. i want to see someone with one now id die laughing. you could check the online surf forecasts, from the sea. now thats something we could all use ;)

hahahaha, i want one, theyre funny.
