Hi all,
22yr old aussie gal from central coast (australia). Have just bought campervan this past month in London & just about to start our surfn road trip down the west coast of France, Spain & Portugal for 2-3 mths. Dying for some waves & sun! There will b about 4-5 surfin ozzies wtih me.
Hoping to hook up with locals or other budding surfers looking for that elusive wave in europe. If anyone will be down in any of those areas over july & August & want to catch up with some crazy surfers, drop us a line
Sarah

gets pretty crowded down there then does it?!
damn :(
I'll be doing sw france, nort of spain and portugal over 6 weeks, hopefully i'll find some good waves just for me occasionally. Either way, should be fun :)
I'm used to crowds BTW, my home breaks are the Noosa points in QLD and I surfed the Gold Coast for years. I can hold my own ;)

Ahh man, well if you're going to Portugal, head down to Peniche and Ericeira! I was in Ericeira for about 2 months a couple of years ago and there are so many breaks within a few miles. You have Pedra Branca, The Reef, Coxos (big powerful waves!) and Ribeira D'Ihlas which is the most consistant. Then up at Peniche, you have Supertubos which is kick ass!!! In portugal, you really are spoilt for choice for waves and I heard the further north you are, the less crowded it gets!! Have fun!!! When you get back from Europe, are you gonna be back in the UK again? If so, we should head down to the coast at some point for a cheeky surf sesh!
Anyways man, have a blast!!

Thanks for the tips, I'll be heading to live in either Aus or Spain after the trip, depending on where work takes me. The UK has been fun, but the surf is calling me again... :)

G'Day mates
I'm a french boy living near Paris and I'll be in Biarritz for holidays (from last week of July to mid August. I've been there many times and I know this place quite well. This time, I'm going there to practise surfing (I'm a beginner) and have fun at the festival in Bayonne (you may have heard of it).
I'd be glad to make you visit this great place in exchange for some surfing tips
I hope you'll love France as much as I loved Australia (I spent 2 months in SA)
