So I don't know how new the movie is, but has anybody seen A Brokedown Melody?

Done by Jack Johnson and some others, all shot on 16mm, from the same guys as sprout, seedling, thicker than water....etc....

Apparently they also did September Sessions and Shelter, anyone see those?

Haven't seen Brokedown Melody. It's on my Christmas List though.

I own Thicker Than Water and Sprout. I've seen September Sessions and plan on buying it. Loved it. Sprout is my least favorite of the three. The narration is kinda annoying.

Really? I liked sprout a lot.

"Micro shakka....resevered for politicans and cops"

What kind of surfing did september sessions focus on?

I saw Brokedown Melody the other day, watched a few surf films one after the other so I might be getting confused with a different one but if its the one I think then I was really impressed with it :? :? :? Really chilled film, and I was in quite a chilled mood  And it had quite a bit of story about different surf cultures, imparticular Jamaica which I really liked, would well recomend.

If im getting confused with a different film ignore all the above

I've got September Sessions, Thicker Than Water and A Broke Down Melody.

Don't worry Matt_South you're talking about the right one.
They are all shortboarding vids. If you have seen any of them and liked it; then you will like the rest. Definitely some of my favorites. 8)

agee 100%, great film, if you don't have it get it. shelter and september sessions are both shoetboarding films, the only thing i don't like about september sessions is that it is short, wish they made it longer. i love the company. watched shelter the other day liked it alot, they have some single fin shortboarding, getting into that myself. love the diversity i surfing style they show throughout their movies.

Sessions features Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Shane Dorian, Brad Gerlach, Ross Williams, and Luke Egan.

It's super chill and it is VERY short (30 min), which I kinda like because I can pop it in before work or just watch it whenever. It's got some good narration from the surfers which I'm a fan of, rather than just a guy doing voice over.

It's shot real pretty, like most Jack films. They stay on a boat for 6 or 7 days in Sumatra which I guess is Indonesia.
