What car does everyone get to the beach in mines a peugout 205 1.8 diesel its served me well. had a few scapes getting down the lanes to the secret spots luckily it fairly small. Also itz a diesel so nice and economical especially as the price of oil is so damn expensive nowadays.

I have a 1984 Mercedes 280TE Estate.
2.8L straight six engine so not the best for fuel but goes like a bat out of hell.
I can fit a 10 foot longboard INSIDE the car though!
too cool!

I love using my MX-5, I slot my board in through the unzipped rear window and it sits in the passenger seat, they I zip it up again, actually I can fit two boards in (provided they're under 6'3" each), totally no room for the misses that way....

I go with an astra too. If i am alone in the car i can fit the board inside, but even when alone i end up using the rack.

my 205 has only done 85 thousand. the good thing about them is there pretty much impossible to rust so they always have a pretty tidy exterior for when you come on to sell it.
