Santa Cruz fun

Hey ho all.
Just got back this morning at 6am from Santa Cruz. Surfed it from friday morning to monday afternoon. Decent waves, crappy weather a couple of days, but still went out. Surfed Steamers Lane on monday afternoon. Fairly high waves, around head high. Got the crap kicked out of me for the most part. But it was fun, only 5 people out there the whole time I was there. Had a couple of sets that were close to double overhead. i just paddled for my life. Got picked off a couple of times, held under for a looong time. Ouch.
Got a new 8'6" board from Cobalt. Will post pictures of it as well as my Haut 7'6".
Also got some pictures of Steamers on Sunday afternoon, waves were hitting triple overhead. I just stayed on my bike and took pictures. Don't think the pictures will do it justice but it was massive. Will post them as soon as I get my camera unpacked.

[Old Guys Rule]

I was just looking at the forecast and another storm hits tomorrow brining in double overhead. Might be worth a drive up there since the swell is going to miss Southern California.
