sorry to hear that but what kind of pain?....dull, sharp, bad? Inner leg, near the joint, outer leg, on the muscle? Did it stop you surfing or were you able to carry on, did it wear off after a while?

lol....I rarely warm up and so end up getting injured

Rest
Ice
Elevation
Compression

And if you really must surf before its sorted (tut, tut) gradualy warm up and cool down the muscle (go easy on the stretching, especially when the muscle is cold) and give it some more R.I.C.E treatment afterwards. - Really does help, as I said I dont tend to use the prevention so know about the cure.

Your trapping your nerve by the sounds of it. I get it really bad when horse riding or pulling up my legs to put fins on.

yeah, sounds like a trapped nerve feels! I have one slightly dodgy hip which likes to 'float' in and out of the socket at will, though it hasn't done it for a few years. I'd be walking down the street and my hip would pop out, leaving me with no option but to contort myself into all sorts of bizarre positions trying to get it back in! have ended up with a trapped nerve from that more than once, and it's not comfy! I do yoga now which seems to have helped it stabilise, probably having strengthened all parts of the joint/muscle etc.

Hope you get it sorted mate!
