out of luck then.

Some two door cars have rear windows that unclicp "hinge" outwards to open a little and you can get away with a rack on these.

There is a way I figured - just put one soft rack at the furthest forward it can go at the front of the door and the other as far back as it can go at the the door, this i will ensure the board stays on the car. To stop it banging the back of u roof - get another strap, tape a towel to it then attach this to your board where the rear soft rack would normally go.... jobs a good'un! Nice!

Peace out!

I've used soft racks from Outer Reef. They're pretty good -- easy to use with strong straps. You just put the one-piece base on your car roof, put your board on top, wrap the two straps around your open doors and off you go. I haven't seen them in surf shops yet but I got mine at <edit>

Put the rear one round the boot hinge... if you get it right it works..
