An Omen?

The darndest thing happened to me today. I decided to forgo de-waxing my board to go surfing when my board tipped over in my garage and wound up with a nasty ding. After buying a tube of Ding Dough, and applying it, I wound up with my wax comb dewaxing my board anyway. As I drove back to my house with the Ding Dough I thought that the ding seemed like some kind of omen that told me to dewax the board...Ah well, such are the vagaries of surfing...

I might dewax my board once a year. I use an all temp wax, so I dont have to strip it every season.
