Does anyone ride regular and goofy? i have been riding regular for about a year and am going to learn how to ride goofy this winter. Presently, i ride a longboard, so if i learn goofy i think i will be able to do so much more on the longboard, so who rides both stances and what can you do on a board?

I ride both stances because thats what my dad tought me when I was 7!

I can do anything on both stances. It just feels natural either way.

I would say trying to learn opposite after you have already started would be pretty difficult!

I can ride goofy, but not very well. It just takes practice, when you are a kid you start using a predetermined hand to write with, and a leg to do the majority of your stabilization, as you get older your neuropathways become programmed and switching up to lefty from righty seems awkward, but it is doable, the more you do it, the better you can. It is just a question of programming neuropathways. Same thing as when you injure a limb and have to have it rehabed.
