wetty rash
Posted: Mon Sep 25, 2006 9:03 pmi just bust into the suit (spring) a couple days ago and i got a terrible rash. burned so bad. i was just wondering how to stop this. vaseline? or would that mess up the neoprene?

Depends on what kind of rash it is... Do you pee in your wetsuit a lot and not wash it out with fresh water, or do you just have a rash from the laying on the board?
Just wanted to make sure all the bases are covered, because you never know, I've got some pretty dank wetsuits.

It's probably a cheap suit. I've got that problem with the 3/2 I have. The stitching in the neck area is killer.

A new suit might help...
If it is in the neck; look for a neck with no stitching or at least one that has been taped on the inside (so at least the actual stitching won't be rubbing against you.
